Hello all!
I’ve been quiet lately because I have been working on a new work, participating in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). I caved to peer pressure and went for it, and I started off really strong before having a crisis of technique and had to take a few days off. Unfortunately, as a panster kind of writer (as opposed to a planner or plotter) my works tend to become their own creatures and I never really know how they will end up. With the NaNoWriMo work, it started becoming apparent to me that I was writing a novella that would fall under the 50,000 word goal of NaNoWriMo. I’ll still try to finish it in November, but I will technically fail at not reaching 50,000 words simply because this story needs far fewer words to be told. I’m having fun, though, and I really like this story titled, Twin Shift. It’s my stab at a good werewolf story and I can’t wait to finish it.
I just sent off my second round of edits for the After The Happily Ever After anthology, which is expected to come out in December. It’s been a really cool experience working with the editors and other contributors! To those who helped with the Kickstarter campaign, thank you so very much! I am very excited to help send this collection of tales out into the world.
That’s all I’ve got right now, I’m just letting you know that I’m still here and still working. Thanks for sticking with me!
